A profile is useful when it shares the information needed for a casting decision. It does not need to disclose every detail about you. Review both the content itself and the settings that decide where it appears.
Review profile and photo visibility separately
Public-profile consent controls whether your eligible member profile can appear in the talent directory. Public-photo consent is a separate choice controlling whether eligible uploaded photos may be displayed with that public profile.
Keeping a profile private does not stop you from managing it in your own account. Public discovery does not give visitors access to your private agreements, billing records or account-security settings.
If you share a profile link in a biography or message, first open the public page and check what a visitor can see. Share that page rather than an account-settings URL or a private media link.
Share only what serves the profile
Use a general location instead of a home address. Describe useful experience and skills without including identity documents or other people’s private information. Check the background of photos for visible personal details.
Upload media you have permission to use. A photo being available on a website does not automatically give you permission to reuse it. Ask the relevant rights holder if you are unsure.
- Read your biography as a public visitor would.
- Review profile visibility and public-photo consent.
- Check photos for personal information in the background.
- Keep passwords, recovery codes and payment details private.
Revisit your choices when circumstances change
Review your settings after changing your profile or replacing a photo. If you have a privacy question, contact support with a description of the issue and the relevant page; avoid including sensitive documents in the first message.
Your followed list and connection requests are private to your account. A connection needs both members to agree. Sharing recent activity is a separate opt-in choice; it does not disclose your private contact details.
Making your profile private clears follows and connections and turns off activity sharing. Blocking a member also removes the relationship in both directions. Publishing again or unblocking does not automatically restore those relationships.
The privacy and content-policy pages explain the current platform information and identify terms still awaiting business approval. They are the place to check for the final approved policy when it is published.
